Mr Chen has been a member of the elite Beijing orchestra for nearly 50 years playing violin. During this time he has traveled China, Asia and many parts of the world. Mr Chen has conducted private one on one tuition classes since 1995 for Chinese school children and has helped hundreds of students obtain entry into selective schools in Beijing. 

Mr Chen has recently moved to Sydney, Australia to be closer to his daughter and grandsons and is establishing a new teaching pathway for children wishing to learn from China's elite performers. 

Mr Chen offers lessons from his home in Bellevue Hill located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
